To reduce Federal spending, and to aid in the elimination of abuse by those who mislead the State as to their religious doctrine. In accordance with the Treaty for the Recognition of Ecclesias. It is here by proposed in the above that the Local Government regulates remuneration of ministers of religion so as to better ensure those who have played a truly active religious role in the community receive what is right, and those who have not receive not. |

Current: The salaries and pensions of ministers of religion shall be borne by the state and regulated by the law.
Proposed: The remuneration of ministers of religion shall be left up to the local governments.

Message | Mr Speaker, I should just like to point out to our esteemed colleagues in the Falls Party that, in the Holy Empire, there is no such thing as 'Federal spending'. We are not, as are some degenerate countries, a loose coalition of disparate states called mockingly a 'federation'. Therefore there can be no such thing as federal spending. That being said - it is dangerous to delegate too much power to non-legislative, caretaker local governments. Thank you. |
