Bill: Corporation Tax

Details

Submitted by[?]: HaLeumit Tikvah

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2421

Description[?]:

With our current government surplus, we can afford to completely remove tax on industry. While many other parties may initially be opposed to this, We ask that they hear us out first.

If we remove tax on industries, they end up with a larger profit. With a larger profit, the company can afford to expand more. This means they have to hire more workers. In short, the first benefit of 0% tax is that it fights unemployment.

In addition, workers pay will be increased, as union leaders, knowing the company can afford more, will ask for better conditions at the next pay negoiations.

MessageIts not for the rich- they will pay the same as before- it for companies. And, as we have explained, a tax break for companies is for the benefit of everybody.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
