Bill: Television Decency Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: New Democratic Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2421
Description[?]:
While the NDP stands against censorship on most occasions, we feel that this is a matter of importance. In order to protect the innocence of our children, we feel that graphic material is best reserved for hours when few children will be exposed to it. Furthermore, we believe that hardcore--and specifically violent--pornography has no place on Lodamun's broadcast television, regardless of the hour. |
