MessageMr Speaker,

This bill shall ensure that only Luthori men of a recognised Christian denomination may serve in our military. It is essential to ensure no sedition, treason or mutiny and that His Serene Majesty's Armed Forces remain loyal to the traditions of the Holy Empire.

MessageMr. Speaker,

This is a very unfortunate piece of legislation which will send our armed forces retreating back into their old prejudices.

I yield the floor.

MessageMr. Speaker

Recently a fellow of mine with in the Part made the statement "The Falls Party will vote for a reduction in the Military".

I yield the floor.

MessageMr Speaker,

The military will not be greatly reduced by this legislation, Luthori men constitute the vast majority of servicemen. We have a professional military and two years national service, women will still be able to take non-military national service.

MessageMr. Speaker,

This is a sickening and bigoted bill, but we may vote for it if it means we can restrict the LPP supporters from joining the military.

I yield the floor.

MessageAt first we were in favor of this bill for the morality of keeping women out of combat roles but it has become clear to us that this could be registered by the people as a pacifist military act.

Messageooc: No, you're not, so far as the game is concerned. I think this bill affects morality rather than militarism/pacifism.

MessageOOC: Quite right: you're not. Even withour defence budget our armed forces couldn't be so big that there aren't enough straight Christian men in whole Empire to keep it up to strength. To think otherwise would be to suggest that such a large proportion of the adult population are in the forces that we can't cope without the odd black one-legged lesbian Muslim.

MessageOOC: Tell that to those people who form a large percentage of the army. Tell me, why do you insist on weakening our army? Why do you insist on weakening this nation's moral compass?

MessageOOC: You'll find that we score on morality for supporting bills like this, while you become more and more permissive.

MessageOOC: What immoral acts are being committed by born a certain skin color or gender? If you're talking about homosexuality, then what immoral acts are being committed by the consensual acts by two adults in their own bedroom? Who do you think you are, the sex police?

MessageMr Speaker,

If the thought of living by God's Laws upsets the Hon Members for the Secular Party, can I suggest they find somewhere to live other than a Holy Christian Empire?

I yield the floor.

MessageMr Speaker,

We assert that this bill will NOT weaken the Empire's military. The military is in the large part made up by those persons this bill describes, and has been so until the amoral changes made by the Luthori Women's Christian Association recently.
