Bill: Nationalisation of Utilities Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Social and Labour Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2423
Description[?]:
It is sad fact of life the Private companies currently running our power, water, gas and transport infrastructure due not have the best interests of our great nation at heart. Massive price increases, coupled with failure to adequately maintain the infrastructure has our nation on the brink of collapse with many people unable to pay the bills to a service that they need to stay alive. This bill will earmark the money needed to buy back the utilities from these companies as well as guaranteeing the investment so urgently need. Although we intend to put the public before profit. We estimate that the new services will become profitable within the decade. This in the second time that the DSLP has proposed this bill. We implore all parties to support it and put the people first! |
