Bill: Waste disposal responsibility.
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Meritocratic Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2425
Description[?]:
Our current law states that "Private companies are responsible for disposing of their own waste. The government disposes of residential waste." Typically, private industry produces the most pollution and is more concerned with maximising profit and minimising costs than protecting the environment, therefore we propose that the government take on full responsibility for the disposal of waste. This measure will also benefit private indistries because it will eliminate the time and expense needed for them to dispose of their own waste. |
