Message | Mr Speaker, We became aware of this only after the much publicised, "Majatran Marries Luthori Man!" article in the Imperial Times recently. Clearly, while the law prohibits homosexual marriage and intercourse outside of marriage, it does not do so in the case of interracial sex. We would prefer to see interracial sex become illegal in Luthori, of course, to preserve our nation. For now, however, we must clear up this loophole. I yield the floor. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, I do not believe this legislation is necessary. I yield the floor. Belinda Braithwaite (Viceroy & Leader of the LCWA) |

Message | Mr Speaker, The Most Honourable Viceroy would happily ban homosexual intercourse between Luthori men, but not between Luthori men and foreigners? How queer. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, What possible wrongs are committed by homosexuality or interacial sex? I yield the floor. |

Message | Mr Speaker, I refer the Rt Hon Gentleman to the books of Law. * Laughter erupts from the Defenders, some of whom wave their Bibles in the air. I yield the floor. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Really, do private, consensual, sexual acts make other people burst into flames? I yield the floor. |
Date | 23:38:55, July 06, 2007 CET | From | Covenanters (IA) | To | Debating the Interracial Intercourse, 2424 |
Message | Mr Speaker, We all know that sodomy angers God enough for Him to cause entire cities to burst into flames. He orders that homosexuals be put to death, and it is only through our own sinful ways that we are unable to put them to death ourselves (John 8:7) and must leave it to Jesus Christ to put them to eternal death when he judges the living and the dead. I will not yield! Mr Speaker, I must remind the members opposite that this is simply an administrative cleaning up exercise: homosexual relations ARE illegal in this Empire and this bill must be made law to make that policy consistent and watertight. I now yield the floor. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, If God curses homosexuals so much, then why did He create the gay gene? Furthermore, exactly how many cities in the world have been lit aflame since the other nations of the world legalized gay relations and/or marriage/marital substitutes. I yield the floor. |
Date | 11:33:57, July 07, 2007 CET | From | Covenanters (IA) | To | Debating the Interracial Intercourse, 2424 |
Message | * The Defenders erupt in enthusiastic laughter, gesturing at the heathen Secularist speaker. The Rev Hugh Evans CF stands: Mr Speaker, To suggest there is a gene that makes men queer is to go against science as well as God. How would such a gene be passed from generation to generation? I yield the floor and look forward to the member opposite's explanation. |
Date | 00:10:47, July 08, 2007 CET | From | Secular Party | To | Debating the Interracial Intercourse, 2424 |
Message | Mr. Speaker, Unfortunately, the science of genetics is not very well advanced. Only the grand pictures of things are available to be seen currently. The fact that there is a gene or a set of genes that makes a man or woman queer is one of those cases. The human genetic system is very complex, with some genes dominating other genes, other genes affecting some genes that you wouldn't expect, and so on. It's likely that the gene dealing with sexual orientation is part of that complex system, and that is why a father being queer does not necessarily mean that his sons will be queer. I yield the floor. |

Random fact: Particracy is set in the fictional world of Terra, which mirrors the real world of today and yet is not quite like it. |
Random quote: "A democracy that does not allow limits is not a democracy. Just as a limitless freedom is not freedom, but prevarication. Indeed, any theory of freedom worthy of this name is first of all a limit theory. If we extend the unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not willing to defend a tolerant society against the attacks of the intolerants, then the tolerants will be destroyed and the tolerance with them! Because, I ask to myself and ask you, given a certain system that we call democratic, which is today the best possible system to allow everyone to live freely and to be able to express their own thoughts, how can the same system admit attacks against its integrity? How can a system refuse the principle of the self-preservation? For this reason, to suppress the apologetics of thalerrism, it's for this reason that the exaltation of exegetes, principles, facts or methods of Thallerism and its anti-democratic aims does not constitute a violation of the freedom of manifestation of thought, but, on the contrary, the celebration of that freedom. The protection of the first premise on which a modern democratic system is based. And this premise must be safeguarded also and above all against itself and its abuses." ~ Malik Astori, Leadership of Liberty and Progress (Istalia) |
