Message | Mr Speaker, It most certainly does not! The government must ensure that it does not waste the tax money with which it is entrusted! |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The money isn't wasted. It's given as very basic subsistence for a short time to those who are down on their luck. Firing should not mean you can not feed your family if you plan to get working again as soon as possible. I yield the floor. |

Message | Mr Speaker, We all know that charities and churches provide soup kitchens and food to those down on their "luck". My own church provides a selection of bacon, sausage, pork and ham dishes every day, FREE OF CHARGE (or rather, paid for out of VOLUNTARY donations, given willingly). This is clearly more cost effective than coercing money from working families to give away to the lazy and inept. I yield the floor. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Although, we are in conflict with the statements made by the Linen and Pimm's Party, we shall ignore them. That is because it has just come to our attention that the welfare policy proposed gives permanent welfare, as opposed to unemployment insurance. We gladly support state unemployment insurance, but permanent welfare goes too far. As such, we must move our vote to the "nay" column. I yield the floor. |
