Bill: The government's policy regarding the treatment of prisoners of war.
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party of Baltusia
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2424
Description[?]:
The current policy of the Republica Baltusia is to allow all POWs to simply be returned to their own government. While we, the Conservative Party of Baltusia, do not advocate torture, we do advocate negotiations with other nations as part of the process of the release of POWs. While they are being held, we propose that POWs are treated according to internationally-accepted standards and that if these standards are not maintained, legal action could be taken. |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
