MessageWe are just keeping radio artificially alive with subsidies by privatizing radio we build a competitive market that will charter to what people need and want instead of what the goverment things they need and want and if they want educational and informational radio they will be willing to pay for it and radio will give it to them because that is where the money is

Quite right. The current legislation gives us all a choice...

* Thumbs through the current bill and quotes:
'other private non-subsidised radio stations are allowed'.

I yield the floor.

MessageMr. Speaker,

However, the Honorable Representative from the BCD bothers us by taking up our tax dollars for the Imperial Radio.

I yield the floor.

MessageMr Speaker,

So now I must buy CDs in order to listen to music without the interruptions of commercial advertising, and I have no way of listening to news, sport and current affairs without such interruptions. I deplore my quality of life being reduced in this manner!

I yield the floor.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Let us play you a song on the world's smallest violins. No commercial interruptions on that.

I yield the floor.
