Considering the fact that cloning the own organs or cells of sick patients, called therapeutic cloning has more chance of curing sick patients than transplanting foreign organs.
Considering the fact that embryo cloning or research cloning is also necessary for research into the treatment of diseases
Considering that these forms of cloning are forbidden by the current law, which forbids all forms of human cloning.
The Assemblee Nationale decides to legalize under strict regulations therapeutic cloning and reserach cloning. Reproductive cloning of human beings remains forbidden
