Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The lyrics of the national anthem.
Old value:: Freedom In Aloria Instead of tyranny and darkness, We choose freedom and peacefulness. Liberty prevails in that path of ours, The road with the freedom where evil cowers. Freedom Aloria! Onward, Freedom in Aloria! Let there be good in our state, As we keep freedom and end hate. From Kurmal mountains to Sildar Beach, We are free in our actions and speech. Freedom Aloria! Onward, Freedom in Aloria! In Aloria the nation of great, All are free and all elate, For there's equality and love for all, Be they skinny or fat, short or tall. Freedom Aloria! Onward, Freedom in Aloria!
Current:
𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 (𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐡): Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi, Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri; Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mâd, Tros ryddid gollasant eu gwaed. Gwlad! Gwlad! Pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad. Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau, O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau. Hen Alôr fynyddig, paradwys y bardd, Pob dyffryn, pob clogwyn, i'm golwg sydd hardd; Trwy deimlad gwladgarol, mor swynol yw si Ei nentydd, afonydd, i fi. Gwlad, &c. Os treisiodd y gelyn fy ngwlad tan ei droed, Mae hen iaith yr Alôr mor fyw ag erioed, Ni luddiwyd yr awen gan erchyll law brad, Na thelyn berseiniol fy ngwlad. Gwlad, &c. 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 (𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡): Bro goth agan tasow, dha fleghes a'th kar, Gwlas ker an howlsedhes, pan vro yw dha bar? War oll an norvys 'th on ni skollys a-les, Mes agan kerensa yw dhis. Alor! 𝐔𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 (𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐨𝐧): Ni, Aloriz a galon, karomp hon gwir vro! Brudet eo an Arvor dre ar bed tro-dro. Dispont 'kreiz ar brezel, hon tadoù ken mat, A skuilhas eviti o gwad. O! Alor, ma bro, me 'gar ma bro. Tra ma vo mor 'vel mur 'n he zro, Ra vezo digabestr ma bro! Alor, douar ar Sent Kozh, douar ar varzhed, N'eus bro all a garan kement 'barzh ar bed. Pep menez, pep traoñienn d'am c'halon zo ker, Eno 'kousk meur a Vreizhad taer! Alor, &c. Ar Alored 'zo tud kalet ha kreñv. N'eus pobl ken kalonek a-zindan an neñv. Gwerz trist, son dudius a ziwan enno. O! pegen kaer ez out, ma bro! Alor, &c. Land, &c. 𝐋𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 (𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡): The land of my fathers is dear to me, Old land where the minstrels are honoured and free; Its warring defenders so gallant and brave, For freedom their life's blood they gave. Home, home, true I am to home, While seas secure the land so pure, O may the old language endure. Old land of the mountains, the Eden of bards, Each gorge and each valley a loveliness guards; Through love of my country, charmed voices will be Its streams, and its rivers, to me. Home, &c. Though foemen have trampled my land 'neath their feet, The language of Aloria still knows no retreat; The muse is not vanquished by traitor's fell hand, Nor silenced the harp of my land. Home, &c. |
Proposed:

We stand our ground for thee! We'll keep this land full of compassion and empathy! O Aloria, we stand our ground for thee! |

Message | We are partial to the current anthem. We would like to preserve history. We agree that the proposed song is very beautiful, but the current national anthem is a piece of our history. We can't just trash it! |
Date | 02:32:44, July 15, 2007 CET | From | One Nation Party | To | Debating the National Anthem Act of 2429 |
Message | We cannot keep changing our anthem to suit individuals - We cannot support this bill as it goes against any conservative ideology - we need to preserve our culture. |

Message | We remind the ONP: isolationist, xenophobic nationalism is not true conservatism. |

Message | ONP: Preserve our culture? You are the one trying to change it from individualist to collectivist! We are taken aback by the fact you can't understand the importance of individual rights. The reason we vote against this bill is to preserve history while you vote no because you want to turn everyone into a closed-minded blind-patriot. |
Date | 15:03:21, July 15, 2007 CET | From | One Nation Party | To | Debating the National Anthem Act of 2429 |
Message | One Nation holds no secret that it has Nationlistic ideals - however to call 8% of the population Xenophobic just shows how misguided you are - this is an insult. Your moves to change the anthem whenever you feel like it is a waste of time - One Nation members are confused as to why you want the Anthem changed? This move serves no purpose. One Nation does want to preserve our culture, the bit of heritage we have. And under a One Nation Majority you will see a nation with true identity. |

Random quote: "You will win, but you will not convince. You will win, because you possess more than enough brute force, but you will not convince, because to convince means to persuade. And in order to persuade you would need what you lack, reason and right in the struggle." - Miguel de Unamuno |
