Message | So the Pantians will take away your right to a fair trial, the Conservatives will take away your right to a fair punishment and the Free Dems will undermine your economic standing. God only knows what the UIF stand for. Is there no one left willing to defend the civilly liberal (OOC: Normal people's defn, not American) tradition of our nation? |

Message | I like how you use "normal" and exclude America. I'm actually a Canadian and our "fair punishment" system means you can sexually torture and murder two teenage girls and get off with 11 years in prison (Karla Homolka). People who commit these crimes have obvious disregard for other human life, so why should their's be put up above that of those whom they killed. |

Message | "I like how you use "normal" and exclude America." I was making it clear that Americans use an unusual definition of liberal. I have no idea whether you are American or not (obviously you aren't) and I don't really care but I wanted to make sure that any Americans reading my comment would understand that I don't mean Democratesque liberalism. "so why should their's be put up above that of those whom they killed." Two wrongs don't make a right. |
