Message | Why not? Why is it a national matter? Care to explain why the crownlands not capably manage gambling regularions themselves? Why they can't craft gambling laws to suit their own local situation? A slot machine or a backroom poker game are hardly matters of nation importance, neh? |

Message | Because it would let to differences in the country. Why should one crownland ban gambling, if their citizens can gamble in a neighboring crownland. With national laws, its in the whole country, with no differences. |

Message | I agree with PLPH, you might not think that gambling is an issue of sufficient importance to be dealt with by the central government but there are laws regulating it for a reason you know. Gambling can destroy lives and families and increase poverty in an area if not strictly controlled. We can't trust local governments to deal with this one. |
