Message | Why can't teacher-led prayers be encouraged? It is not forced upon them. We can at least allow the schools to decide it for themselves. |
Date | 23:48:23, July 17, 2007 CET | From | Radical Labor Confederation | To | Debating the LP - Secular Public Education |
Message | 'Be encouraged' is pretty forceful if it means your job is on the line. The RSM supports this bill. |
Date | 07:51:06, July 18, 2007 CET | From | Supporters of Science in Design (IP) | To | Debating the LP - Secular Public Education |
Message | I do not think religion should be forbidden outright from private schools. |
Date | 10:13:47, July 18, 2007 CET | From | Malivian National Unity Front | To | Debating the LP - Secular Public Education |
Message | I do not man to be critical but, I find it mightily ironic that my respected colleagues of the Supporters of Science in Design would stand against such a proposal. I would also give ground to allowing those who wish to pray within school to be entitled to do so within an appropriate environment. An appropriate environment would be a religious formed charter school, not a school funded by the Malivians. |

Message | OOC: You may need to ignore the above message; if this vote requires more yays than nays....Ignore the rambling idiot! |

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that. |
