Bill: Public Pension Scheme

Details

Submitted by[?]: Luthori Christian Women's Association

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2431

Description[?]:

Too many retirements have been blighted by inadequate pension schemes which have been mismanaged by unscrupulous fat cat buccaneers. A basic state pension would be a very sensible idea.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The Secular Party is split on this vote. We do care for the welfare of the elderly, but at the same time, we recognize the huge costs of a pension system. At this point, our party shall abstain.

I yield the floor.

MessageMr Speaker,

We would prefer no pension scheme is compulsory. The government should not force people to save money, if they do not wish to do so.

MessageMr. Speaker,

To avoid a loss of visibility, the Secular Party will vote in the way that it is slightly leaning towards.

I yield the floor.
