Message | Mr Speaker, De-criminalising acts of mortal sin was one thing. It was compatible with the Christian principle "hate the sin; love the sinner" - but to actually add official approval to their perversion is a disgrace! I yield the floor. |
Date | 19:25:16, July 21, 2007 CET | From | Secular Party | To | Debating the Legality of Sodomy Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, It's not the government's job to be the sex police. We can't hire people to go around and stick their heads into people's bedrooms while they're doing their actions. I yield the floor. |
Date | 21:29:15, July 21, 2007 CET | From | Covenanters (IA) | To | Debating the Legality of Sodomy Act |
Message | Mr Speaker, We never needed to police this law. It's very existence, and the death penalty it used to carry, were enough for these deviants to either abstain from their perversion or to keep it behind closed doors. Either way the benefits to our society were clear. I yield the floor. |
