ToDebating the PLF: Television and Radio
MessageIn our opinion this would be a much better policy: "The government subsidises independent non profit making cooperatives for educational and informational purposes; other private non-subsidised radio stations are allowed". Why ban private radio stations?

MessageWhile the FPFG sees the value in government sponsoship of educational programming, Gaduri media will not have the breadth of broadcasting that is both entertaining and educational if there is absolutely no profit motive. If the bill was ammended to be somewhat less hardline, the FPFG would certainly support some government activity on the airwaves, but as this bill stands, we must oppose it.

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with.

Random quote: "We need a new environmental consciousness on a global basis. To do this, we need to educate people." - Mikhail Gorbachev
