MessageAbortion is a terrible practice which we are opposed to in all but the most extreme cases, We maintain that an adopted child is better in a traditional household which can provide the care they need, we maintain that children should be allowed to work if it does not interfere with their education and we oppose the euthanasia believing the time of death to be a matter for the gods that control such things.

MessageLong live a progressive Hulstria!

I ask you, fellow Diet member, why should one suffer endless, without sight on improvement? Why should a person, who cannot be cured, wait for death. Family members are much more (excuse me for my vocabulary) "satisfied" when they can say farewell to their beloved ones, then when the beloved one dies suddenly (death is always a shock).

Abortion is a answer to unwanted pregnancy. Of course is should not become a contraception, but a unwanted child is not good for the parents and the child. Education will suffer and socially it will be left behind.

Gay couple`s think better before taking a child, because they cannot produce it naturally, so they can be better parents then straight couple`s.

Child labor should be forbidden! It`s inhumane to let children work instead of educate.

MessageA typical response from the reactionary parties, who have led our nation into this morass. A brighter future lies ahead, the Plutocratic Utopian Front can provide it.

MessageI rebut the PLP's position.

No pregnancy is unwanted, or at least it shouldn't be. That is not to say that sex isn't something that should not be pleasurable, or enjoyed. I think we can all safely say sex is an enjoyable thing. There is a reason it is enjoyable of course, it encourages us to have children. But exactly for that reason we shouldn't take it as simply a thing of pleasure. Those having sex without contraception should know about what they are doing. They know the law, they know they cannot get an abortion just because they want to. They should THINK what they are doing. If they want sex without a child wear a condom and if they don't use contraception they know the consequences. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR ABORTION IN THIS NATION!

Similarly with a gay couple they have made a choice to live in a homosexual relationship. I do not see that as "sinful" but in making the choice of a homosexual lifestyle they have chosen not to have children. A straight couple have chosen a relationship where they could have children, and if they are unable to naturally then they should be allowed to adopt and if they just want to give a child a chance in life they should be allowed. Even with those consideration of the choices and nature of man we have to consider the child. An orphaned child has seen great hardship, they have either lost their parents or their parents have cast them aside, surely that is enough, but to then be placed in a family situation outside the norm, with a single parent or two homosexual parents? The child should be brought back into normal mainstream family, social, life if they are truly to be given a chance to develop into a normal well rounded adult.

The PLP's last point is ridiculous and misinterprets and misunderstands the law. Child labour in this sense does not mean their education is taken away, their education is guaranteed by law! It cannot be taken away. besides what do you think those "additional regulations" int he law do? They ensure the child's rights, ensure they are not placed in work that a child could not do, ensures they come to no harm. Children in this country can do work outside school if they want, do a paper round, work at a corner store, wait tables. The things normal children do worldwide, the things my fellow diet members probably did as kids given the chance to make some extra pocket money. A job is a part of education, a way to help a child develop into a mature adult, I don't want to take that right and those experiences away and I hope the rest of the house joins me in this!

I hope the rest of the Diet joins me in condemning this bill!

MessageWhile we agree that the subjects of the dual throne should exercise thought and restraint before making their decisions, the penalites assessed for an improper choice are too steep and not necessary in a modern country like our own.

MessageWe, as educated members of the Imperial Diet know that sex without contraception is stupid. But unfortunately we all know that not everyone is smart enough to have safe sex. Some enjoy unsafe sex, and we must be realistic, no-one keeps sex until marriage. A mistake can be made, let us not make this mistake a problem for our society. We do not want to promote abortion, we only want to make it possible.

Does the Gao-Showa party dare to say that gay people are not normal people. Being gay is not a choice ( at least latest research tell us) but natural. There are many different gay people, and some gay couple create a normal circumstance. Of course its a little awkward to have two fathers of two mothers, but it is always better then having no parents. And being straight does not mean you are a good parents. We can understand that some Imperial Diet members are afraid to look as gays as normal human beings, but we ask why? It give some complications, but is is not impossible. Gay couples can be great parents to. You talk about physical challenged children, but also normal children are being "disposed", because they are unwanted. We do not approve this, but we only make the Imperial Diet members aware of this problem, and ask them, please do not put up your eye flaps.

We have to apologize to the Imperial Diet that we misunderstood the law. If the child labor law works as the Gao-Showa party says, then we are in favor of this law and we apologize for the mistake we made. I, as leader of the party, take full responsibility for this mistake.

We would like to know though, what the Gao-Showa Party thinks of the euthanasia?
