| Message | Some comments 1. I realize the bill formally stating Lodamun has 5 aircraft carriers has not yet formally passed, but I feel it's close enough to begin discussing the next logical step. 2. I feel naming aircraft carriers is probably most important, other ships less so; that is why I started with them. 3. Since there are 5 ships and 5 regions, I think it's logical to name one after each, but I'm open to other suggestions. 4. Why would the URP which brought down the monarchy suggest King Kardovan Class? Simple, if these are existing ships they would have been built during the monarchy and what better kick ass name could there have been at the time? 5. Naming ships after people in general - I think we need to agree to a rule that we will not name ships after characters we RP with such as Everitt Diggory or Nick Griffin for example until they are dead. This would prevent stupid arguments among living characters. (I wouldn't be totally opposed to naming something after Griffin even if he is a criminal, but probably only a destroyer or frigate) 6. Doesn't naming something after Kardovan conflict with #5 since Kardovan hasn't been declared dead by the NMP? Well I think Kardovan should probably be declared dead soon, but I think the king is a special case. 7. I think LNA is a good USS/HMS substitute standing for Lodamese Naval Ship, but I'd like comments as this could be improved. |
