Bill: Emergency Cabinet Proposal of January 2433
Details
Submitted by[?]: Likaton Coalition of the Willing
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2433
Description[?]:
Following the recent observed breakdown in the process of government, and the inability of all parties to agree on a compromise cabinet, the AMPS propose this emergency cabinet, whose first act will be to declare martial law until more stable governance can be installed. This is a short term fix, following the disappearance of key government figures in the SSP, and others. Whilst not ideal, it will help us to maintain order until a more agreeable format is reached. Additionally, to help ensure that this process is not derailed, we have added some short term security measures. |
