MessageReally? We would be curious as to the reasons (if any) the CEFL has for voting yes. Briefly, no police force? confidentiality of letters totally inviolable? Legal representation paid for all (including the wealthy)? these measures alone are contrary to good government. Our current extradition law already prevents our citizens from being extradited to nations with capital punishment . We dont agree with any of the other proposals either

The reason we did not comment earlier is that this omnibus bill is obviously a statement of the CEFLs position on these matters rather than a realistic attempt to change them.

MessageWe feel private security firms would be more than adequate. Letters are personal, the state has no right reading them; ever. Defending oneself in court should never cost you a penny; it is morraly objectional, regardless of a persons means. We should extradite to states where the criminal will receive a fair trial and a proportionate punishment.
