Message | But then surely this is the best system, where parents can buy their children tobacco and alcohol if they think they should be able to have it, rather than your proposal which would see children buying it and not telling their parents. |

Message | We trust parents to supervise their childeren. We want a parent to be allowed to say to a 15 year old: Sure you can have alcohol if you think you must, but I will not buy it for you. If they don't want their childeren to have alcohol it is up to them to prevent them from using it. |
