Bill: Democratically Elected Mayors
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberty Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2436
Description[?]:
It is pointless to leave this up to local governments. This way, the people choose who they want their local government to be. This current law contradicts itself and is very open to corruption. We must have a national system of the election of mayors. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The appointment of mayors.
Old value:: Local governments determine the method of appointment.
Current: The Head of State oversees the appointment of all mayors.
Proposed: Citizens elect their mayor directly in a local election.
