Bill: Federal Charter School Policy
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberty Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2436
Description[?]:
Our national policy on Charter Schools is not a matter for local governments, therefore we suggest this new proposal: Only non-profit organizations may establish charter schools. This seems to be the most reasonable option, as some parents would rather send their children to a private school, whose only "specific focus" is education. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Charter school policy (free, privately run, publicly funded schools).
Old value:: Charter school funding, regulation, and development is left up to local governments.
Current: Charter schools are not allowed.
Proposed: Only non-profit organizations may establish charter schools.
