Message | Whilst the Progressive Liberals are al for tax cuts, we also realise that small taxes are needed to pay for vital government services, therefore this proposal is daft - perhaps cutting tax by 50% would have been reasonable. Also, the prices of goods are not decided by tax, but by market demands. If the market feels that it can pay 1 for a paper, cutting tax on that paper will not result in a price cut. The paper will just take more of the cost price as they know that market is willing to pay 1 for their product. In short tax cuts are great, but in a measured way. Your proposal seems more driven by ideology than common sense. |
