MessageSounds good, however I happen to know the Dutch system in which there is a network subsidized by the government, but runned by the people.

It's strange and I haven't seen it anywhere else, but it gives the people the opportunity to broadcast.

But even in this current state I'm in favour.

MessageIt tends to work rather well. It's only a single station, so people still have a great deal of choice, but it provides a free forum and, if properly run, works extremely well.

MessageYou say all media should be private! Remember that this means that many people are highly influenced by the will of corporations, we need an non-profit counterpart to balance it out!

MessageIt is the people's choice whether to watch these stations and there is no reason for a governmental agency to be created. This is an unneccessary addition to a government bureaucracy.
