Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2438
Description[?]:
The citizens of our great nation belong to us. They are born in our hospitals, grow up under our tutelage, work in the industries that we provide for them, and eventually die in service to us. These people owe us everything. And, yet, when a citizen has shown himself to be malfunctioning to such a degree that he is a threat to the machine, and to society in general, we are to hold his life sacred? No life is sacred. People exist to serve us. Thusly, if a citizen is guilty, beyond the shadow of a doubt, of a capital crime such as murder of the most heinous degree, we should put that citizen to death. One, it guarantees that he will not harm anyone else. Two, it sends a clear message to the general populace. And, three, it removes his malfunctioning from the machine, thus improving our efficiency. |

Message | While we disagree with the philosophy that the people's lives are in thrall to the state, we also recognize that certain crimes are abominations, and to allow those who commit these crimes without regret to live, even in prison, sullies the ideals of our nation, and undoubtedly has a corrupting effect upon the less degradaded prisioners these unrepentant monsters. |

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer. |
