Voting deadline: April 2438
Description[?]:
Religion is a matter of personal choice, and the governmnent's current stranglehold on religious expression has left the people sorely wanting in this field. Our critics have spoken of "cults" and "extremism", but I believe the current legislative atmosphere has allowed these organizations to flourish, at the cost of more conventional religious groups - groups that work for the good of their membership, and the good of their society. Groups that encourge civic duty, an essential aspect of this nation. We propose nothing drastic: merely a relaxing of these dictatorial rules, which effectively enforce Atheism as the state's belief system. Allow religious groups to promote themselves in the public eye, and allow us to wear our garb of choice when acting as private citizens. Our nation stands only to benefit from the beneficial effect religion has towards strong communities and civic duty. |

Message | Religion is merely a symptom of your malfunctioning. When you accept your place within the role of the machine, then there will be no need for this "religion" you seem to hold in such high regard. Allow yourselves to sink into the warm embrace of faceless conformity and your sickness will end. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
