Message | Article I Nurseries are home to children in their most formative years. They will spend several hours every weekday for multiple years in this environment. State-run nurseries already ensure the best interests for the children are met. However, without adequate oversight over private nurseries, the government will be unable to protect children there from possible abuse. Private institutions running parallel to goverment-run institutions is fine - but these are our children, the future of our nation. It is the duty of the government to protect them. Article II "Patriotism is not a short frenzied burst of emotion, but the long and steady dedication of a lifetime." -Thomas Jefferson Most citizens cannot accurately recite even the first paragraph of their own national anthem. The national anthem, along with its flag, are the symbols that represent a country and all the work and sacrifice that has been put into it. Children must be instilled with a sense of national pride - not so they could be brainwashed into nationalistic beliefs, but so they can gain an essential understanding of our history and culture. Children require a sense of patriotism so they can set out to be productive and caring members of our society, and in the future, help lead the nation to a better future. |

Message | "We oppose strongly article two. Do we wan't our children to be smart individuals or just parts of a fascist militarystate? Strong and FORCED Patriotism is the very first step towards facism and totalitarism. No child, man or woman should be made to sing our song if they don't want to. We feel it's unpleasant that DLDP urges other parties to reduce our liberties." - Ben Mastertoni Party Leader |

Message | We respectfully disagree with the National Coalition regarding Article II. The recital of our national anthem in state-owned and operated schools in no way forces patriotism any more than a class in the history of our nation. This is because our anthem is an integral piece of our history. In addition, both help bring the identity and substance of our nation into the reach of our young students. We would like to bring this bill to a vote, and urge all parties to bring this into law. |

Message | You still make no sense why they have to sing it EVERY SINGLE DAY? Any idea how much they'll sing it during their education? They will HATE it in the end more than anything... |
