Bill: Senate Resolution 7: Senate Expansion Enaction (SEE)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Federal Independent Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2438

Description[?]:

We the Federal Independent Party have come to the conclusion that the Senate is currently too small. There are very few Senators to represent the near 140,000,000 citizens of this nation. In order to promote a fuller, more democratic legislature and government, it must include the populous it serves.

Therefore, we propose to increase the Senate body to the number of 425 Senators. This is open to debate, however, we would rather not increase the Senate by any amount greater than 480.
