Bill: Unconventional Weapons Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: New Conservative Left
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2439
Description[?]:
Article 1: The New Conservative Left believes that it is inhumane to even consider the production of weapons that are unnecessarily harmful. We ought to only use the necessary amount of force in war to accomplish our goals, not to potentially harm people far after the troops have been withdrawn and the conflict is over. Article 2: In addition to ending the production of chemical and biological weapons, we must stop using them as well. There is simply no need for them, especially considering that they make it harder for us to use ground forces effectively when we must be wary of the fallout of our own weapons. War is not humane, but it ought to be as close as possible. |

Message | Its good for you all to get your party ideals put through, but sometimes it just seems a waste to me. |
Date | 07:40:30, August 03, 2007 CET | From | New Conservative Left | To | Debating the Unconventional Weapons Reform Act |
Message | We believe that it is not only an important tenet to our party, but also a critical moral and human decision to ban chemical or biological weapons. They are pointless weapons that hurt our own armed forces as well as innocents in a war-torn region. |
Date | 22:45:10, August 03, 2007 CET | From | Independent Republican Party | To | Debating the Unconventional Weapons Reform Act |
Message | We wholeheartedly agree with the New Conservative Left on this bill. Biological and chemical weaponry are inhumane, torturous methods of warfare. If Lodamun uses these weapons in war, the opposing nation will surely use their chemical weapons resulting in a bad situation for our troops. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
