Bill: Lobby for a Superior National Animal
Details
Submitted by[?]: Ordo Inordatum
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2439
Description[?]:
Certain factions within our nation wish to see the hapless sea squirt adopted as our official mascot. What sort of message does this send to our neighbors? Our national mascot should be one that accurately reflects our nation's strength and vigilance. The Order wish to suggest a timeless mascot that speaks to our commitment for national defense. We believe this to be a far better choice than that ignoble sea vermin, the sea squirt, a mascot which would welcome worldwide derision and foreign subversion. |

Message | The Noble Badger has been the national animal since the dawn of time. Its proud heretigage of Strength, Setts, and Stripes reflect the dignity of our land. |
Date | 17:36:38, August 04, 2007 CET | From | Ordo Inordatum | To | Debating the Lobby for a Superior National Animal |
Message | The Order agree that the badger is a fine animal, but in the face of the Ars Moriendi proposal, we believe that something even more fearsome is necessary. Who would dare trifle with a nation whose mascot is the Cerberus, especially if experimental genetic procedures actually allowed us to deploy a legion of Cerberi along our borders? |
