| Message | We vote 'No' in protest of this proposal. While it is true that this nation is indeed the Jewish Homeland, we implore the Mizrachi League to reconsider this bill on the grounds that such an anthem is contrary to the spirit of inclusiveness and pluralism that the country should move towards. This anthem would send a terrible signal to the world at large. In spite of great difficulty and conflict, we need to remain open to the many peoples and faiths of the world. Also, tourism might be hurt by this measure you propose undertaking as it can be seen as the first move towards the folly that is theocracy. We sincerely hope that you will reconsider. |

| Message | We can assure the Moderate Voice that this is not a movement towards a theocracy, merely an attempt to re-establish a safe haven for the Jewish people. For years the jewish people have sufferred around the world, but to be oppressed in our own homeland will see our religion constantly under threat. |

We do have grave concerns about whether this process is going to far. This is why we call for new elections, elections that will ensure that we get a reasoned transition into a state where once again the Jewish People can rise to prominence in accordance with human rights. |
