Proposal[?] to change Civil defence is the government's policy on providing shelters to be used in the event of attacks on major cities, mainly nuclear attacks and bombing.
Old value:: Every public building is required to feature provisions for civil defence and at least 50% of spaces must be allocated to private citizens.
Current: The government builds and maintains a network of shelters across the nation.
Proposed: No new buildings may be constructed unless they feature provisions for civil defence.
Article 2
Proposal[?] to change The nation's defence industry.
Old value:: Defence industries are privately owned but subsidised by the state.
Current: The state owns national defence industries but these exist alongside privately owned defence industries.
Proposed: The state owns all defence industries.
Article 3
Proposal[?] to change The nation's policy on the separation of the police and the military.
Old value:: A civilian police force is in place and the military may be called in to help in serious emergencies.
Current: A civilian police force is in place and the military may be called in to help in serious emergencies.
Proposed: A civilian police force is in place, backed up by the military.

Old value:: The government allows arms to be sold only to close allies.

| Message | (1) This bill actually goes against your INTENT; In other words, the current law requires all public buildings to equip space for nuclear shelters etc. Your proposal, though, will just require NEW buildings. What about the old??? (2) Adamantly Opposed!!! With the grand coalition with our Neo-Whig and Miltarist Party friends, we ousted the Green Socialist Party out of power. We are officially a CAPITALIST nation!!!
