| It looks like the Deltarians are role-playing again, and I wouldn't put it past them to invade Jakania, like they did way back when. This debate is basically to define what we're going to post in the forums regarding the whole situation. |

| Message | Defense Minister Ali al-Jabr has put the military on alert, reinforced patrols and armament on the northern border, notified reservists that they may be called to duty, and begun a new recruitment drive. The SLP calls for Foreign Minister Gierof Sriaffa to reaffirm our ties with historical allies Kanjor and Wantuni, and to seek other nations like our own that may have a long-past history of Deltarian oppression. We would consider signing some sort of treaty such that if any nation is invaded by Deltaria, we will help drive them out, and if we are invaded, we can expect help. These aren't random fascists halfway across the world, they are right on our doorstep, and we have suffered from their attention in the past. When our neighbors are involved, we should get involved. |
