Message | Why don't we all reconsider this. The ability to accumulate more than 5 quota at a time could have serious negative consequences. It allows: 1. Giant "omnibus" bills that screw up your visibility 2. Clogging up of the bill page 3. Political Instability Article 3 messes up the seat system such that every province has an equal number of seats in the legislature. Article 2 is OK, but it also threatens the unity cabinet ideal with simple partisan politics. |

Message | Boy I love how some people are afraid that others might have power. Archonic, it's not horrible for other people to cause change as well you know. |

Message | P.S. see how even though all of us agree on something but since you don't like it all our votes are negated? That's the sort of crap that needs to stop. |

Message | The DSA, after considering the bill more closely has decided to vote against it, since we believe in fairness, and apart from doing away with the idea of regional Representatives, we believe the current system is fine. |

Message | Could the DSP please expand on how it would make representation less fair? The choices for article 3 are: bigger regions advantage, smaller regions advantage, and equal. So I dont understand how this is less fair. |

Message | By only assigning a set number of representatives it is no longer fair since you than make minorities equally powerful to majorities, we would support it if we had a bicameral system with a Senate and House of Representative system, but we don't. |

Message | The DSP, after internal debate and further consideration has changed its mind on the issue, and is voting for the bill, since we support 2/3 of it, it is only logical to support it. |

Random quote: "Colonialism or imperialism, as the slave system of the West is called, is not something that is just confined to England or France or the United States. The interests in this country are in cahoots with the interests in France and the interests in Britain. It's one huge complex or combine, and it creates what's known not as the American power structure or the French power structure, but an international power structure. This international power structure is used to suppress the masses of dark-skinned people all over the world and exploit them of their natural resources." Malcolm X |
