Bill: Wasting Tax Payers Money
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberty Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2441
Description[?]:
If the people who paid for these museums wanted them, at better quality and cheaper prices as the private sector would be providing them, then they will create a market for museums. There is no point building a museum of sub-standard quality with tax payers' money when there are not enough people interested in them to create a private market. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy concerning museum funding.
Old value:: The national government maintains a system of museums nationwide.
Current: The national government provides local governments with the funding to operate museums.
Proposed: The government does not fund or manage museums. This is left to the private sector.
