Bill: Clemency for Illegal Aliens Resolution

Details

Submitted by[?]: Deus Ex Machina Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2441

Description[?]:

This bill would give all illegal aliens a pardon and invite them to become nationals of our country. We feel that it goes along with other immigration laws currently on the books, as well as the fact that ANYONE is allowed to become a Rutanian national.

This proposal would
1) Not advocate increased surveillance or detection of illegal immigrants.
2) Allow illegal aliens to voluntarily register for integration help and classes.
3). Not make integration mandatory for aliens, but encouraged due to the benefits of learning the local language, customs, culture, etc...

MessageThe Neo-Epicureans support openness in our country, and would rather see immigrants become productive citizens than expel them. We support this measure.
