Message | Confused why this option instead of: The nation shall never purchase, produce, or store nuclear weaponry, for military purposes. Research and development of the technology is permitted. we support the Article since we support development, we do not support the Description. |

Message | ok, support |

Message | Nuclear technology is not a low-cost deterrent. For example, Britain has a relatively small nuclear force, but it costs £2 billion annually to maintain. Then we have to spend millions more on nuclear facilities, billions more on R&D, and if we want to get rid of them, at least £32 billion on decommissioning. |
Date | 06:18:08, August 14, 2005 CET | From | Leviathan Party | To | Debating the Nuclear Research & Development. |
Message | Nuclear arms are not expensive on their face, but compared to the kind of money required to turn aside any invasion, to maintain a ground defense, they are. And where's Britain? |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
