Bill: Health Care Socialization
Details
Submitted by[?]: Tukarali Communist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2442
Description[?]:
Health care is something that should be viewed as a right in our nation, not as something that changes availability based on financial status. As it is, the poor are provided for, but there are still two tiers of healthcare: one for the very wealth, and one for those who have limited means. |

Message | We can't support further socialization. We'd like to see much less government as it is. |

Message | We oppose. As much as I admire the goal you're trying to abtain, we don't believe this is the good way to obtain it. On the contrary, if you have a small number of private clinics, they will attract rich patients, have the money to attract good doctors, while the public hostpitals, funded by public money will degenerate into an overcrowded shelter with a lack of doctors. This will create the exact two tier system you want to compete. Just let them go to any hospital, let the doctors do their job, and we'll fund back the expenses of people with low income. That way is much more efficient. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
