Bill: National Motto Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Grand Order of Organized Native Sodality
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2442
Description[?]:
While “Strength and Unity” has been faithfully used for many years, we simply fing it lacking. We find that “Melius Frangi Quam Flecti” (It Is Better To Break Than Bend) rings with a layered power. There is the implication of the former, that we are strong and that we stand together, however, in it there is also a boasting of stability: that we have the ability to withstand force or stress without becoming distorted or warped. It is likewise promise to other nations, that we will resist outside tyranny to the death, and a proclamation of loyalty to one another. |
