| Currently: Foreign investors are not allowed to invest in national companies Proposed: Foreign investors be allowed to invest in national companies provided they comply with Pontesi financial and capital requirements. Context and Purpose: The benefits of allowing this will allow for an increase in capital inflows into our nation which will boost business, reduce unemployment and stimulate economic growth. It will assist Pontesi in becoming internationally competitive with added funding as it will allow industries to invest more funds into infrastructure. |
