Bill: Internet Investiagtions Bill 2442

Details

Submitted by[?]: Progressive Liberals

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2442

Description[?]:

The Progressive Liberals propose that it is time for our Government to take a stance on combatting crime using the internet. The internet has brought many great advantages to society. However, it has also become a safe-haven for paedophiles to discuss plans, robbers to plan attacks etc. It has also lead to increased piracy, which costs local and multinational industries dearly.

It is time for us to protect our industries, and more importantly our people.

Random fact: Real-life quotations may be used in Particracy, but the real-life speaker or author should always be referenced in an OOC (out-of-character) note alongside the quotation.

Random quote: "A proof is a proof. What kind of a proof? It's a proof. A proof is a proof. And when you have a good proof, it's because it's proven." - Jean Chretien (describing the level of proof about weapons of mass destruction that Canada required to join the Iraq War)
