Bill: UM - Electoral Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: United Malivia
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2442
Description[?]:
"As the times change it seems more and more necessary to eliminate the equal representation of the Wilayahs. It is time that we notice that regions with large populations must have a larger amount of seats, as to better represent the people in those regions. Currently, there are 120 seats per Wilayah, which means that no matter if a region has a population of 100,000,000 or 1 they will still have the same amount of seats. This seems a bit absurd to United Malivia and as such it must be dealt with as such." - Gald'er Xenosa, Leader of United Malivia |
