Bill: Mental Defense Initiative Addenda and Resolution
Details
Submitted by[?]: Ars Moriendi Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2442
Description[?]:
In light of the LFF's overwhelming concern for their mental defense, we hereby propose that they, and they alone, be mandated to wear tinfoil hats at all convocation assemblies to protect themselves. In addition, we propose that they have specially designated washrooms created for their sole use, that they may protect the sanctity and purity of their precious bodily fluids. Ideally this protection may be achieved by making said toilet facilities completely inescapable from within. We are requesting a straight up-or-down vote for this binding resolution, following the normal legislative schedule. |

Message | We thank the Ars Moriendi Party for their concern about the LFF mental state of mind. With so many people members of LFF, our main concerns here are that implementation of this policy would result in a shortage of aluminum foil and a builder shortage in the nation, as well as plumbers to construct said toilets. Our more progressive policies have made soap exceedingly cheap throughout Likatonia, as carcasses of religious nutters are rendered down. As such, provision of soap to these facilities would not significantly impact on the nations budget. We again thank the Ars Moriendi Party for raising this matter, however we feel that convocation resources would be better spent on mundane things such as banning iPods, police arrests for rude drivers and legislating that all fast food outlets should be closed. On balance we must vote no. |

Message | The AMPS feel that this is a flagrant disregard fo choice. We are sure that there are many convocation members who would prefer being locked in the khazi with a shiny bonnet to having to sit through resolutions such as this. We must vote no, and condemn the Ars Moriendi Party for their lack of inclusiveness. |

Message | OOC: I toyed with changing my vote over this "convocation members who would prefer being locked in the khazi with a shiny bonnet to having to sit through resolutions such as this" ROFL. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
