Date | 23:41:12, August 16, 2007 CET | From | Zardugal Trade Unionist Party | To | Debating the Localisation of Government Act |
Message | At this juncture, the Neo-Industrialists cannot support Article Five. |
Date | 11:04:47, August 17, 2007 CET | From | Zardugal Anarchist Party | To | Debating the Localisation of Government Act |
Message | Article 5 is a trivial change, as the National governemnt currently tneither bans or supports nuclear power, local governments are already free to do as they please. This bill simply reinforces the current state of affairs. |
Date | 06:47:27, August 18, 2007 CET | From | National Party | To | Debating the Localisation of Government Act |
Message | Because we believe in the separation of church and state, the National Party can not abide the various proposals which place certain religious decisions in the hands of local governments. We believe in universal non-intervention in the realm of the "spiritual." In general, however, localization of power is a sound idea. |
Date | 07:07:32, August 19, 2007 CET | From | Liberty Party | To | Debating the Localisation of Government Act |
Message | This gives local governments, which are still governments, far too much power. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
