Bill: Size of Parliament Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Social Libertarian Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2038
Description[?]:
The Social Libertarians would like to propose tripling the size of Parliament to 300 representatives from the various regions of Beluzia. We believe that such action will allow for a more representative picture of the Beluzian people by giving more flexibility; in our election history, there has been as much as a 6% difference in the percentage of votes received in a region and the percentage of seats to Parliament received from that region. This bill will prevent that from happening to such a great extent, and therefore we put it to the Beluzian Parliament to increase its size effective the next election. |
