Message | We are not sure this bill is going to do what the DN thinks it will - what you are, in effect, proposing is the banning of all private TV stations? |

Message | We are proposing the creation of independant cooperatives to provide the news. This insures that there is no bias in the media towards one side or another and the people may decide. As for private TV stations, they are sick perversions of media. Privatized TV allows corporations and sponsers to control content, for news to go through countless filters that insure no advervisters are offended or put in a bad light and generally puts a stranglehold on information. |

Message | We were not objecting to that aspect of the bill, merely pointing out that it was a consequence that did not appear to be shown in the description. |

Message | So, all television (and radio I assume) stations shall tell us unbiased information about the government? That there will be absolutely no spin whatsoever in reporting passed bills that will upset the people? |

Message | Unbiased information, period. Not biased towards the government, but presenting both sides. No longer will there be the pro-government stations, the anti-government pirate stations (well they'll still exist obviously), and thats it. Both sides will be presenting in an independant and non-biased manner. |

Message | The CNF is committed to sponsoring more bills to open up advertisement in the country so that churches may promote themselves more freely. The small removal of restriction on advertising here will not directly help the church from advertisement but it is a step in the right direction. Perhaps the next bill will open up advertisement to everyone. |
