Bill: Party Colours Act 8-2443

Details

Submitted by[?]: Al'Badara Republican Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2444

Description[?]:

We propose, as a general rule for any new political parties in Al'Badara that no two parties have the same colour at the same time (eg. ACAP's is red therefore no future party, while ACAP's main colour and is still in existence shall use red). It would ease any confusion for Al'Badara's historians.

MessageThe PSP are calmly wondering who this bill could possibly be aimed at...

(We would also like to calmly point out that our red is more orange than the ACAP's, but if it were any more orange we would probably be accused of being too close to the Children of November's colour instead.)

MessageThe bill is aimed at no one at large, unless it was a new political party, in fact, we at the ACAP proudly support PSP's orange colour, as PM's black or CNF's neon green. It's just that if a new party emerges, we don't want a second brown (CofN) or pink (DN)

MessageWe suppose that is fair enough, but can't help but wonder how this bill will be enforced, indeed, if it can be enforced at all. Even if it is something that all parties present agree to, it is not us that it will affect.

Odd bill. We'll say yes though, as during voting (especially the voting area map) it can be a bit confusing. The only real problem color we can see is red, since Socialist, Communist, and Republican parties all use it.
